Restaurant Manager
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our vibrant Italian restaurant and deliver warm, memorable hospitality. - Oversee and coordinate all daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service.
- Lead, coach, and mentor the FOH team to deliver welcoming and attentive hospitality in line with our Italian dining style.
- Recruit, train, and onboard new team members, fostering a positive and professional team culture.
- Manage staff rosters, wage costs, and labour efficiency to meet operational and budget targets.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Manager to maintain strong communication and consistent service flow.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, respond to feedback, and resolve service issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with all food safety, RSA, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, inventory checks, and supplier management to ensure product consistency and availability.
- Support marketing and promotional activities, including seasonal menus, events, and community engagement.
- Drive revenue and operational improvements through strong leadership, service innovation, and team development.
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a fast-paced hospitality environment (Italian cuisine or premium dining experience highly regarded).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support, and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- A warm, guest-focused personality with a commitment to creating a welcoming and authentic dining atmosphere.
- Solid understanding of rostering, cost control, and general operational management.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and peak service periods as required.
- Current RSA and sound knowledge of responsible service practices.
- Passion for Italian food, wine, and culture is an advantage and will help you thrive in the role.
