We are looking to hire an Assistant Venue Manager to support the Venue Manager and leadership team in shaping the culture, guest experience, and energy of this dining destination. This role is more than operations, it's about contributing ideas, building a strong team, and delivering experiences that stand out.
You'll be joining an experienced team of operators and creatives, but as a brand-new venue we're open to new ideas and different ways of doing things to enhance both the dining experience and the behind-the-scenes operations.

About the Role
- Support the Venue Manager in leading the Front of House team to deliver warm, professional and attentive service.
- Mentor and inspire FOH staff, helping to maintain high service standards.
- Assist in overseeing daily floor operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Work closely with the General Manager, Head Chef and senior leadership to create alignment across FOH and BOH.
- Contribute to rostering, stock management, and operational planning.
- Support the and help evolve the beverage program, including helping manage a premium wine list and cocktail offering.
- Be part of shaping the venue's identity from the ground up.
About You
We're looking for a hospitality professional who brings:
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar premium venue in an Assistant Manager or supervisory role.
- A good grasp of wine, with the ability to understand and navigate a strong wine list.
- Solid knowledge of classic cocktails and experience supporting a premium cocktail program.
- Strong leadership skills and a collaborative, team-focused mindset.
- A guest-first approach with polished communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with POS and booking systems.
- A proactive attitude, financial awareness, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
