Maintenance Technician

Samphire Rottnest, located on the premiere tourist destination Rottnest Island, hosts 80 suites, pools, unique dining options, and a range of indoor/outdoor function spaces, overlooking breathtaking views of Thomson Bay.

We’re on the lookout for a practical, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team. If you’re someone who loves rolling up your sleeves, solving problems on the spot, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, this could be the perfect role for you.

What you’ll be doing:

• Taking care of everyday repairs and maintenance jobs around the hotel.
• Helping out with plumbing, painting, carpentry, and general odd jobs.
• Making sure our facilities stay safe, tidy, and in great condition for our guests.
• Jumping in to fix things quickly when something breaks or needs attention.
• Working with the team to keep everything running smoothly.

What we’re looking for:

• Handy with tools and confident across a mix of maintenance tasks.
• A problem-solver who’s not afraid to get stuck in.
• Reliable, friendly, and happy to work both on your own and as part of a team.
• Previous maintenance or handyman experience is a big plus, especially in hotels or resorts.
• Flexible and able to help out on the occasional weekend or after-hours if needed.
