Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences? Pier 21 Apartment Hotel is seeking a friendly, professional, and motivated Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office team on a full-time basis.
As one of the first points of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a warm welcome and ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless experience from check-in to check-out.
About the Role
Reporting to the Front Office team, your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and welcoming guests with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Managing guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Handling reservations and responding to guest enquiries
- Undertaking general administrative and clerical duties
- Providing outstanding customer service at all times
- Sharing knowledge of hotel facilities and local attractions
- Resolving guest concerns and requests promptly and professionally
- Assisting with day-to-day Front Office operations
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a Front Office, Reception, or Guest Services role (preferred)
- Excellent presentation and strong attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and organisational skills
- Confidence using hotel-based computer systems
- Experience with RMS or a similar Property Management System (advantageous)
- A positive, can-do attitude and genuine passion for customer service
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
