Duty Manager - Food and Beverage
The Hedland Hotel is looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Duty Manager looking to join and contribute to a busy operation on a full-time basis. The role will report to the Food & Beverage Manager with the successful applicant being a leader in our Palm Springs inspired bar and restaurant while also assisting with diverse function operations.
Although the role is primarily Food and Beverage based, it will also have more broad tasks across other areas of the hotel's operation. The position requires a dedication to ensuring consistent high standards of service and hospitality across the property. Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily Food and Beverage operations of the hotel
- Coordinating the activity of the Food and Beverage staff
- Development and training of staff
- Maintaining high standards of service
- Opening and/or closing of the venue
- Maintaining venue presentation and cleanliness
- Processing & reconciling POS & EFT terminals and complete with end of day financial reporting
- Attending management briefings and meetings
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Duty Manager
- Excellent understanding of cellar operations
- Strong knowledge of cocktails
- Valid WA un-restricted approved managers certification
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a passion for delivering the highest level of guest experience.
- Have strong leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of WHS
- H&L Knowledge is highly regarded.
